Help for authors, reviewers and editorial teams.
Answers to common questions, plus how to reach the Datasphir team when you need direct support.
Common questions.
How much does it cost to publish on JournalHub?
Nothing. JournalHub is diamond open access — no article processing charges for authors, no subscription fees for readers.
Is my journal eligible for the pilot?
We are onboarding 5–8 Nigerian journals in Year 1. Any active Nigerian journal with a defined editorial team is welcome to apply; applications are reviewed for fit and current capacity.
How long does onboarding take?
Typically several weeks, depending on the complexity of your editorial setup. The Datasphir team runs each pilot through a five-phase process: Apply, Scoping, Provisioning, Rollout and Review.
Where do I sign in to submit a manuscript?
Use the Sign in link at the top of the page. If your journal is not yet on JournalHub, ask your editor or apply as a pilot journal first.
Do you register DOIs?
Yes. Every published article is automatically registered with Crossref and receives a persistent, citable DOI.
Does JournalHub support ORCID?
Yes. ORCID-verified identity is required for authors, and reviewers are drawn from an ORCID-linked database.
Need direct support?
Email support@datasphir.com and the Datasphir team will get back to you.
