Pilot & Access
Controlled access during the pilot phase.
JournalHub is currently in pilot phase. We are onboarding 5–8 Nigerian journals in Year 1 through a phased process. Submitting an application does not guarantee access — each application is reviewed for editorial fit and current pilot capacity.
How onboarding works
Controlled access during the pilot phase.
Phase 01
Apply
Describe your journal, editorial team, and publishing goals.
Phase 02
Scoping
Datasphir reviews fit and defines onboarding scope and timeline.
Phase 03
Provisioning
Your workspace, forms, and editorial roles are configured.
Phase 04
Rollout
Guided onboarding with training support for your editorial team.
Phase 05
Review
Evaluate outcomes and assess readiness for full public launch.
What to expect
Honest expectations, up front.
The pilot process typically takes some weeks per journal, depending on the complexity of your editorial setup and current onboarding capacity. Every journal gets hands-on guidance from the Datasphir team.
Who we can onboard first
Nigerian journals with an active editorial team, a defined scope and a willingness to move to a diamond open-access model.
What comes with the pilot
Configured workspace, editorial role setup, training for your team and support through your first submissions on the platform.
